It's hot just about everywhere right now. On the 4th of July, I watched kids play in a pool while beating the heat. They had the most fun running around, jumping in the pool, swimming underwater, and getting out just to do it over and over again. I didn't have a pool as a child, but I had a fish pond I swam in. I also filled up our trash cans with water and submerged myself in the front driveway so I could watch people pass by while staying cool.
I put together this minute slideshow of the photographs I took on the 4th of July. It brings me back to those summer days as a child without a care in the world.
