Walking around the town and touring the galleries will give you a sense of the talent in this town. Some paintings here are truly amazing. Sometimes you can look at a piece and think it's so simple to do...until you try to do it.
I hope to continue and scribble some more pictures in the next few weeks while I am here. I am headed to Rhode Island today to take a walk through artist open studios and soak up some skills. Well, I'm not sure about that but I know there will be some talented artists there. I am looking forward to it. Here is a collage of all of the 12 paintings together. Perhaps I should paint like a normal person and sit at a table or stand with an easel. I painted these either on an airplane, in my trailer, in a bed, on the floor of a motel room, or on the floor of a friends house. It's not supposed to be comfortable, right? "Gully" is still my favorite.

You are very talented!!! Thank you for sharing.
Congrats on 150, been there...I'm no expert but your painting is taking on more depth and detail. I'm trying to learn "Wish you were Here" by Pink Floyd on my guitar and some days are better than others. My fingertips are killing me. Painting could be the same way just not as painful! Enjoy R.I. Keep on keepin' on...I enjoy every post.
PS: I picked up a hitchhiker from Belgium last Weds. He wanted to go to the Pacific for a swim so I "kidnapped" him (Hermes), brought him home for the night and drove out to the Pacific (Ocean Shores) for a dip the next day. He wanted to head to Glacier Nat.Park in MT so we headed east and I dropped him in a little town called Morton right near Mt. Rainier. Got a post card today, said it was cloudy in the park but he had met some great people. Go figure. Hermes is coming back to Tacoma on the 24th to stay with us until the 26th when he flies home... He is 30, quit his job, sold his stuff, broke up with his girlfriend and decided to see America. Sounds familiar...Not the girlfriend part!
Take care, Kevin

Thank you for all of the kind words. It's been quite the journey. I hope to share more soon!
