My brother tied the knot the other day in San Diego to his long term girlfriend, Aurora. It was a small ceremony at the courthouse and a gathering at their home afterwards. It was quick but sweet. They had a photographer on hand to take photographs, but I wanted to take a few to remember the way I saw things. Here are a few from the day.And yes, the bride is wiping off the car they drove to the courthouse. It's my step father's car (the one with the beard) with the "grumpy old man" personalized license plate. He will be 90 in a month.
We are all a bit slightly skewed from "normal" but that's the way we like it.

Congratulations to your brother.
Love the picture of the dog ...it looks like a deer.
Alison,
Those photos capture so much. What a fun & light wedding, I love it!
I'll bet they're thrilled to have a talented photographer in the family to have recorded it all. Lucky in love!

Congratulations, what a lovely family, it is nice to take pics when others are totally in natural postures, and western wedding bears great difference from that in China, while both receive heartfelt blessings
Love your perspective thru the camera lens, Alison. May the newly wedded enjoy the same lighthearted spirit that flows in these pics for the rest of their lives...
I adore the shadow photo... that pic tells a story without a single word. But then, all of your work does. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you everyone!
Great set of pictures.
